II Samuel 22:31

II Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. (NKJV)
My grandfather was swearing while clutching the door and probably wondering why he had let me do what he had. My cousin surely contemplated the same.
