Who Am I? - Part 2

Who am I

I am complete in Christ (Col. 2:10) The Word of God says that I am complete in my relationship to Jesus. The Amplified Bible puts it this way:

And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

I have read that the little word “in” may just be the most important word in the world—and in the Word. As a part of speech, “in” is a preposition which means that it connects two things and shows a relationship between them. Whenever I come across the expression “in Christ” I always say to myself “in relationship to Christ.” Relationship implies a connection, association, or involvement of some kind. This understanding brings the expression “in Christ” right up close and personal. I know Him . . . and He knows me.

Because I am in a relationship with Christ,  God wants me to know that I am complete, meaning that I have everything (every One) I need: The Father lives in me, the Son lives in me, and the Holy Spirit lives in me. There is nothing that He requires of me that He will not accomplish through me by His own power. I am not left to wander around on my own to try and make things happen. He is my constant Companion, my continual Guide, my forever Friend. If I have a personal and saving relationship with Jesus, I am complete. Amen!
