BECOMING GOD'S SONS AND, DAUGHTERS IN CHRIST.

GROWING FROM BEING JUST A CHRISTIAN, INTO GOD'S VERY OWN LOVING SPIRITUAL SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN CHRIST:

Elder James R, Winfree, Sr, Our God And, Heavenly Father's Believing Nations Messenger, And, Our Blessed Savior, And King Jesus Christ, Anointed, Chosen, And Appointed Churches Transformational ASpostle:

Teach us Awesome Teacher, Our Holy Spirit, In Jesus Name...Amen.Romans 8:1-17

( AWE!!! ) My Kingdom brothers and my sisters in the Lord, How do you see yourselves in relation to God? Do you go around always feeling, at least, slightly guilty? Do you ‘live under a continuous, low-lying religious cloud’?.

This is not how you are meant to live as a son or a daughter of God our loving Holy Heavenly Father. You are His sons and daughters, deeply loved, accepted and empowered by His unconditional love for you. He wants you to enjoy freedom from guilt and condemnation and to experience the intimacy of relationship with Him, even closer than the best parent/child relationship We will ever know here in this world.

The moment we receive Christ the past is dealt with. We receive complete forgiveness. The barrier between us and God and the Jewish people has been removed in Christ's grace and by His blood. Apostle Paul writes, ‘There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus’... We ‘no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying religious cloud, We are set free from being Godless in this world. Although the law was good for the Hebrews and Jewish people, it was powerless to save them because of their sinful nature. So God sent Jesus to die for them and the world as a sin offering. Jesus took away all our sins – past, present, and future.

Now, in the present, we can enjoy life in the Holy Spirit. We no longer live ‘according to the sinful Godless nature but according to the Holy Spirit of grace’. The Holy Spirit leads us to stop setting our minds on ‘what that sinful nature desires’ but rather to set our mind on ‘what the Spirit desires’. This leads to ‘life and peace’.Elder Paul is not saying that we will be perfect in our weak flesh, but rather that ‘even though you still experience all the limitations of sin, you yourself will experience life on God’s love, mercy, and grace’. This is possible because right now the Holy Spirit of God lives in us.

Furthermore, we can look forward to the future resurrection of our bodies. The same Holy Spirit who lived in Jesus and raised Him from the dead dwells in you and me. Therefore our bodies, like Jesus’, will be raised: ‘He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you’.

The Holy Spirit brings us into a relationship with God as sons and daughters. Not all religious men and women are children of God in this sense, although we were all created by God.

It is only to those who receive Jesus, to those who believe in His Holy and, Blessed Name, that He gives ‘the right to become children of God’ (John 1:12). The idea of sonship in the New Testament which includes both sons and daughters!... is not a natural status, but a spiritual one. We become sons and daughters of God not by being born, but by being born again by the Holy Spirit. Big Brother Paul describes how those who are Led by The Spirit are the children of God.

There is no higher privilege than to be a child of God. Under Roman law, if an adult wanted an heir he could either choose one of his own sons or adopt a son. God has only one begotten Son – Jesus The Christ – but He has many adopted sons and daughters. We have been adopted into God’s family. There is no status in the world that compares with the privilege of being a child of the Creator of the universe.

As children of God our loving and awesome heavenly Father, we have the closest possible intimacy with God. Apostle Paul says that by the Spirit we cry ‘Abba, Father’. This Aramaic word may well have been the first word that Elder Paul ever spoke, and the way in which he addressed his earthly father. Jesus used this word in speaking to God in a distinctive way. It expresses both deep respect and deep intimacy and is perhaps best thought of as ‘Daddy’ or ‘Papa’, But my sons calls me Pops LOL... In large parts of the Middle East, it is still used today. ‘I was describing Abba as a first-century Aramaic word abba, is the first word we teach our children.” As God’s children, we are not slaves of fear but adopted sons and daughters.

The Spirit gives us the deepest possible experience of God. ‘The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children’. In the same way that I want my children to know and experience my love for them and my relationship with them, so God wants His children to be assured of that love and of that relationship. ‘God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are’ His sons and daughters...

To be a son or daughter of God is the greatest security. For if we are children of God we are also ‘heirs of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ’. Under Roman law, an adopted son would take his father’s name and inherit his estate. In fact, Nero who was Emperor at the time that Apostle Paul probably wrote Romans, had inherited the entire Roman Empire because the previous Emperor (Claudius) had adopted him.

As children of God, we are heirs. The only difference is that we inherit, not on the death of our father, but on our own death. We will enjoy an eternity of love with Jesus. ‘And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us – an unbelievable inheritance!’ We take on our Spirit Heavenly Father when we take on the Name Jesus...

Apostle Paul adds, ‘if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory’. This is not a condition but an observation. ‘We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with Yeshua, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with Him!’. Christ Believers, His Lovers, and His Followers identify with Jesus Christ. This may mean some rejection and opposition here and now, but that is nothing compared to our inheritance as children of God.

Father, thank You for the amazing privilege of being your sons and, Your daughters. Thank you that we can address you as Abba, Father. Thank you that Your Spirit living within us testifies with our spirits that we are your children by our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you that You loves us even more than we love our own children. Thank You that our future is secure, that we are your heirs and co-heirs with Christ and, in Christ Jesus. Amen, God's Beloved, Anointed, Appointed and, Chosen sons and daughters of God. Amen...
