Jesus Video, Easter and Tim Tebow

Social Media Evangelism

Christian.org Members,

I wanted to personally write and thank each of you that shared Jesus - and specifically the video Jesus - by God Stuff Explained - this past week!  During the first week of having the video on-line, it was shared hundreds of times on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

  • The video was viewed 891 times on YouTube during Passion Week - its first week on YouTube!
  • Websites showcasing the video received over 20,000 unique visitors during Passion Week!

We also encouraged people to watch The Passion of the Christ, and our site PassionofChristMovie.com received over 2,000 unique vistors last week - some of which came from social media sharing on Facebook and via our new Pinterest ministry site.  This site includes a Gospel message from Greg Laurie and receives thousands of visitors every March and April.

Do You Cheer on Tim Tebow - or are you being like Tim Tebow?

Jesus taught in parables, and today He might tell a parable about evangelism and football.  It is easy to be fans of a football team - cheering them on from the stands or from the comfort of our living room watching on our HDTV - instead of all of the hard work, sacrifice and pain of playing the game ourselves.  Even with sharing our faith, it is easier to cheer on Tim Tebow as he shares his faith publically (and is often ridiculed in the media for it), than it is for us to actually share Jesus ourselves!

For those who shared the Jesus video last week - please continue sharing your faith!  Sharing Jesus with others is a VERY important part of the Christian life!  Our flesh and even Satan will try everything to make us feel uncomfortable about sharing Jesus - make us feel embarrassed or shy about it - or inadequate.  But the power is not ours - the power is in the Gospel itself, and the Holy Spirit is our partner in reaching people with the Good News of Jesus!

If you haven't shared the video yet, please watch the video and see some of the ways you can share it and keep sharing Jesus with others!

God bless,

Lee
